What do Cub Scouts do? Cub Scouts learn by doing. You can learn to tie knits, set up a tent or cook a meal on a campfire. You may also build a birdhouse, spend the night at the zoo, or hike at a nature preserve. You will learn how to help your community around you and make friends while doing it. Plus, you earn rewards for doing these FUN things in CUB SCOUTS.

Where can I get more info? Visit Cub Scouts.org or email our den leaders at: denleaders@pack3518.org

When you join Pack 3518 you will become a registered member of this website. You will then have full access to the content on this site and you will receive a Weekly Newsletter via email called Pack 3518 EBlast!  It will highlight new items on the website, announcements, upcoming meetings and events, and more!

January 19th Pack Meeting: Dog Sled Race and Den Skits

Posted on Jan 2 2017 - 10:54pm

Happy New Year!  Because winter is upon us, we will be having our own version of the Iditarod!  At the January 19th Pack Meeting, we will be holding an indoor dog sled race.   The race will be held in the gym.   Each den must build a dog sled using nothing more than cardboard, duct tape/masking tape, and rope.   The sled must be able to carry one cub and can be pulled by one or more cubs.   Please build these sleds during your den meetings prior to the Pack Meeting.  Also, because these sleds will be sliding across the floor, please be sure to remove any staples or other items that could scratch up the floor.   Lastly, each den will be responsible for performing a skit or leading a song at the Pack Meeting.

Medical Forms - Part A & B

Posted on Nov 3 2016 - 11:39pm

Recently, several members of the Pack have had problems locating the Part A and B Medical Forms on the Pack website.   These forms can be found under the "Files" link on the left side of the pack website.  The forms can also be found at the following link: http://www.pack3518.org/system/files/2014Medicalformpartsab.pdf and attached below.   These forms are used for all Pack campouts and District overnighters.  If you have any questions, please contact Herbert Dean at 216-337-1214 or hrdean04@gmail.com.

Websites for Scouts

Posted on Aug 4 2009 - 9:15am

A good site is http://boyslife.org - the online home of Boy's Life Magazine, which each scout should receive monthly. Fun scout-focused activities, games, and more can be found there.
